As teachers across the country prepare to cerebrate the world teachers day on 5th this month, some have narrated what difficulties they go through.
While talking to the reporter of this web site exclusively, the chairperson of UNATU Iganga branch Sangayi Gerald said that most of the teachers are under paid and on top of that they receive their salaries late.
He said that the little money they get which arrive late cannot work out their problems like rent, paying school fees and others.
”Imagine you are getting your salary after 3 months, how do you expect to pay for your rent and send back children to school?”
Meanwhile, Sangayi said that as they celebrate their day, they will also send off their fellows who went with the new district Bugweri.
He said the celebrations will be at Busesa mixed primary school.
